Exchange, Return and Refund Policy


  1. Breakdown

1.1 Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol packs all products with great care, using corrugated cardboard in the boxes, bubble wrap and corner protectors. This is to ensure that all orders arrive in perfect condition. However, if the customer still notices any damage upon receipt, this must be reported to the carrier upon receipt.

1.2 If there is damage to the work, the customer must send, within 7 days of receipt, at least three photos of the products and three photos of the packaging, to request a refund, repair or exchange via email: galeria@umlugaraosol.com.br

1.3 We undertake to make all reshipments as quickly as possible, but this may extend up to the original purchase period.

1.4 Collection of damaged products will be arranged with the customer during business hours.

  1. Absence or divergence

2.1 If, upon receiving the order, the customer notices that any product is missing or different, a new shipment will be made urgently and at no cost to the customer.

2.2 The customer must report the situation via email: galeria@umlugaraosol.com.br

2.3 The process of sending new products will only begin after the first contact and request as per item 3.2.

2.4 We undertake to make all reshipments as quickly as possible, but this may extend up to the original purchase period.

2.5 The collection of divergent products will be arranged with the customer, during business hours.

2.6 In this case, a divergence is considered to be products with specifications different from those requested at the time of purchase, such as: image, size, or authorship.

  1. Exchange or withdrawal/regret

3.1 The customer may communicate withdrawal/regret of the product within 7 days after receipt, bearing the cost of return.

3.2 The customer must formalize the withdrawal/regret, stating the reason, via email: galeria@umlugaraosol.com.br

3.3 It is essential that, in order to return or exchange the product, it is in its original packaging and in perfect condition.

3.4 The customer can send the products to our store address on their own, being responsible for delivering the products to the nearest transport unit and bearing the shipping costs.

3.5 The shipping costs for resending the new product, in case of exchange, will be covered by Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol.

3.6 In the event of an exchange for a product of greater value, the customer must pay the difference. Alternatively, the customer may opt for products of lesser value, receiving credits for the difference for purchases at Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol, available in the form of a purchase coupon.

3.7 In the event of withdrawal, the customer may choose to receive a coupon for the total purchase amount, for future purchases at Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol.

3.8 When opting for the coupon, it becomes available immediately after the products are shipped, without the customer having to wait for them to arrive at the factory.

  1. Refund or refund

4.1 Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol preserves the consumer's rights, granting them the right to cancel the purchase and receive a refund, in situations where this is applicable, as provided for in items 2 and 3 of the Exchange and Returns Policy.

4.2 If attempts to exchange for similar products or products of interest to the customer are not accepted by the customer, Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol undertakes to refund the full purchase amount through the following available methods:

Refund on card: For purchases made using credit.

Bank transfer: For purchases made by bank transfer or bank slip.

4.3 In cases of purchase cancellation, which are not provided for in items 2 and 3 of the Exchange and Return Policy, the refund will be made conditionally, and only after the return and arrival of the product in perfect condition at our store, with the customer then bearing the risks of damage during transport.

4.4 The refund/refund will be released within 7 business days, provided that the criteria for the same are met.

4.5 In cases of credit card refunds, Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol will only authorize the refund of the transaction to the card operator and will send the aforementioned receipt to the customer. The actual transfer of the amounts/credit is determined by the operator and may be in a single payment or in the same number of installments as the purchase was made.

4.6 As a general rule, the customer may choose whether to exchange or cancel the order, however, cancellation and refund will only be considered if the customer and Galeria Um Lugar ao Sol cannot agree on a resolution that is satisfactory to the customer, reinforcing our commitment to ensuring the best possible shopping experience, even in adverse situations.

4.7 As we work with both a physical and virtual store, a purchase can be made by two people simultaneously. If the product has been sold to another customer, the purchase will be cancelled within 24 hours and the refund will be made using the same payment method.
